Christel Schaldemose is the S&D coordinator to the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection in the European Parliament. She is Parliament’s Rapporteur on the DSA file and sits on the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA). She is also a member on the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) and Chair of the Parliament’s Japan Delegation. Christel Schaldemose has been a member of the European Parliament since 2006 and heads the Danish delegation of social democrats.
