The Parliamentary Group of the Italian Democratic Party, in cooperation with Global Progress and the Progressive Parliamentary Network, held the 2nd progressive parliamentary leaders’ conference “Rewrite the world: events are global, progressives too” in Rome on 19-20 April 2012.
The second Rountable of the Next Left Economic Circle was held on December 8th 2012 and was entitled Public Debt Crisis in Europe: urgent solutions and long-term remedies, with Guest Speaker Laurent Cordonnier.
The Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) and the Global Progressive Forum (GPF) launched the Next Left Economic Circle in September 2011. The Next Left Economic Circle roundtables intend to gather progressive economists from European institutions, civil society organisations and private businesses insisting on the need to assess the theoretical bases underlying economic policy proposals.
